a study of kisses

THE BEGINNING
Here's a kiss. What is your first is your first impression of it?
Notice the shape of the kiss. If you didn't know it was a kiss, would you think it's a kiss? Did the photo of the kiss reach your expectations? Why or why not?
Notice its background. What is the effect of the background to the kiss?

THE FIRST CHANGE
Here's another kiss. This time, what changed? Do you think the change was significant? What caused this change? Did the picture change for the better or for the worse?

ADDITIONS
Now, here we added some stringed pearls and took a photo of the kiss three times. What similarities or differences can you see in the three photos? Which photo of the kiss with the pearls is the best for you? Why or why not?

SUBTLE CHANGES
Now, three more objects are added to the picture, and two photos of the same subject are taken. What difference/s can you see in the two photos? Which photo is better for you? Why?

ADJUSTMENTS
Try to recall the main subject of the photos. Again, it's the kiss--not the string of pearls, the green prawn, the padlock or the set of keys. What major adjustment happened in this photo? Did this adjustment work well for the kiss?

SOME EXTRA
To add a little spice to the picture, the color has been changed entirely. What is the effect of this color change to the photograph?
